This Sunday, March 24th Sarasota County SWAT will have a booth at the 18th Annual Giving Hunger the Blues event. The booth will be located in the youth area of the event which has been designated as a Breathe Easy Zone. SWAT will have information about the dangers of candy flavored tobacco products, a survey to gather opinions from community members, and a tobacco-free pledge to sign. There will also be a sign-up sheet for any youth interested in joining SWAT.
The event will be on Hillview Street in Sarasota next to Sarasota Memorial Hospital from Noon – 8:00pm. Admission is $5.00 and there will be food and beverages available for sale. For more information please visit the Giving Hunger the Blues website.
