This Wednesday March 20th is Kick Butts Day, a national day of activism that empowers youth to stand out, speak up, and seize control against Big Tobacco.
Sarasota County SWAT is sponsoring the play Tobacco Tales which will be performed by the Source Teen Theatre for middle school students throughout Sarasota County. On March 20th Pine View School and Heron Creek Middle School will host the play, and on March 26th Venice Middle School and Sarasota Middle School will host it.
Our local SWAT clubs have also planned additional activities to raise awareness regarding the dangers of tobacco use to their peers and community members. For more information about Kick Butts Day, please visit the official website.
